Checkers Online Elite App Reviews

I use the app to play American Checkers online regularly. Overall, it has been a lot of fun. I really like the graphics, which are netter than similar apps. Only two complaints. First, if an outside notification (like low battery) pops up in the middle of a game, you get booted and end up forfeiting that game. Secondly, there is no way to force a draw after 40 moves. So a determined player could go on indefinitely, even if there was no possible way to win, until the other player simply abandons the game and forfeits.

Ive played 3 games, first game I typed a message to opponent and after it was sent, I couldnt remove the keyboard from the screen and I ended up losing cause the timer ran out. Second game I got disconnected. Third game was only complete game.

My friend and I made a new version of checkers called hardcore checkers and we tried seeing if someone took our idea but this is the closest thing to it and its not even close to hardcore checkers

The screen wont flip to the normal direction and the online play is awful.

Im giving this game one star because though it was a cool game, when you opened the chat option during a game and typed with the keyboard there was ABSOLUTELY NO WAY to get rid of the keyboard afterwards. The entire minute would finish and the keyboard would still be there blocking the board, so you could not make the next move. Resulting in you losing the game.

The game is fun but it has some things wrong, like online you cant close the keyboard covering your pieces causing forfeit and when you can jump a piece thats all you can do, not to mention how money hungry it is.

Ranking should go down for people who quit a game. So many quitters here and all show 100% wins. Also keyboard locks open in chat.

I would have given this 5 star but i only gave for 1 these reasons: one, you cant rematch. Two, somtimes you cant move the pieces. Three, any interuption during the game will end the play like alarm or someone calling you.

1. On ios Theres no way to close the Chat box! Once you open it you cant see half the board which either prevents you from moving or causes you to lose! This ruins the chat feature for millions of users. 2. In online play if any ios popup appears (Low battery, alarm clock.) it boots you from the game! Other than these two sad*ss problems its a solid, entertaining app & a great time passer.

This is almost a decent app. But it crashes every time a notification is received.

Fun game but the stats and rankings are very misleading because when players are beat they quit/leave the game by closing the AP - fix this please! Others do not draw when it is obvious draw - have an automatic draw after 10 or 20 same moves by a player. Include a rematch option, and or an invite function for players you like to play. The game would be much better with these options added. Thanks.

By far the best checker app available, but still room for improvement. 1. The correct rule for English Draughts is that when you jump into the king row, your turn is over even if there is another available jump for your new king. 2. A 40 move rule should be added. Too many players will refuse draws in a one-on-one match. 3. Games are forfeited when a banner notification pops up.
